Gerry Knight has always been active and focused on making healthy choices. When he couldn’t find healthy snack options made from quality ingredients, Gerry invented his own. Starting in his garage in 1976, he hand-mixed his favorite nuts, seeds and fruits into sweet and savory snacks. Word spread about his innovative snacks, and soon he had a small business that offered personal delivery of Good Sense® snacks to a local grocery store chain and other local retailers.

Today, Gerry is still president of Waymouth Farms, making high-quality Good Sense® trail mixes and snacks with the freshest ingredients. The family-owned operation has expanded to distribute quality snack products nationally and internationally, owing a great deal of its expansion to word of mouth by customers and wholesalers who love the company’s ongoing innovation. Our satisfying snacks, commitment to high-quality raw ingredients as well our health-conscious, in-house processing and packaging make the difference.
